How do you get the front cover off a Fedders AC model A6Q10F2A*E ?

Seems to have hidden interior clips or retainers of some sort - about 3-inches from the top on both left and right sides.

SOURCE: I have an older unit need to know what the top knob does

One of the knobs controls fan speeds, cooling speeds and an off position. Center knob controls temperature and bottom knob more than likely controls air exchange. As for the front cover it would depend on the units age as to if it would be available.

SOURCE: model a6q10f2a beeps 2 times when plugged in, and

Pull the unit from the wall and it`s shell, check the fan to see if it is turning ok by hand,if there is any restriction,it will blow the control board, the circuit board behind the controls, clean the unit while you have it out,if the fan is stiff, and does not turn, this could be the problem, and if so,the circuit board is most likely shot. Also, the circuit board is most likely shot anyway, even if the fan is fine, there is a lot of problems with fedders and other brands, and the circuit boards, they dont last too long.

How do I get the front off a Fedders air conditioner serial no A6Q10F2A 10000 BTU UNIT

Usually the front is held on with screws on the sides of the unit. I would check behind the filter screen trim plate as well. I would be surprised if the front is just snap locked on.

Need to no how to getr in to the inner part of my washing machine. Is there clips holding? Will it pop open by pulling on it

If you are referring to a Whirlpool manufactured TOP LOADER (such as Kenmore, Estate, Roper, Frigidaire and some later model Maytags), the interior of the washer is accessed by removing the exterior washer case. The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3631789-washer_case_removal_whirlpool_top

Older Maytag and GE TOP LOADER interiors are commly accessed by locating the two retaining clip along the seam where the top panel meets the front of the washer (about 2 inches in from each side) and pushing in with a putty knife to depress. This releases the top and it can be lifted up. The access screws that hold the front panel in pace are now accessible and can be loosened to remove the front panel for full access to the interior.

If this is a FRONT LOADER, the interior is accessed on MOST models by removing the washer top panel. This is accomplished by removing the retaining screws that hold the top panel in place in the rear of the washer. This will allow access to the controls and dispenser. For access to the drain pump and drive components, you will need to remove the kick panel directly below the door. There are a series of retaining screws along the bottom front edge that hold the panel in place.

If none of these tips help, please post back with a MODEL NUMBER so that I may assist you further.

My control panel will not work at all. i dont have the remote to see if it works with that.

I'm having the same problem. There is a glass fuse that is probably blown behind the control panel. Take the front cover off (there is 1 philips screw holding it in) and then remove the three 1/4 inch hex screws holding the control panel in. As you pull the control panel forward, you'll see the fuse at the top. I think its a 3.5A, 250V. You should be able to read the size on the fuse itself. I got a four pack replacement at radio shack for about $3. Problem I have is that it keeps blowing so either my transformer or something else is shot.

    Fedders won't turn on

you probably blew the fuse behind the control panel. remove the front cover and then remove the control panel (usually a few screws). There should be a glass fuse attached to the circuit board. If its blown then just replace it and you're good to go.
