Go to Best Buy and buy the DirectTV Universal Remote Control Model RC64 ($20). It will control all the functions on both the Olevia TV and the RCA Satellite box, except the A-B-C-D buttons for the User Guide. It's codes are:
Satellite Box - 00392
Olevia TV - 11610

As suggested in another post, w2power has provided this solution. It is the only thing that has worked for me thus far. While it is a pain, I can at least consistently get my set to turn-on when using this USB cable method with logged-in PC attached to Olevia's service port (I have the 23" version)
"I think this model has a timer on it, it seems to go when the warranty runs out, not proven but Mine went out about a month ago. My only fix is to plug my tv (via the service port which is COVERED) to the usb port on my computer using my BlackBerry usb cable, in other words the Mini USB. Seemingly I must be logged on to do so and wait for the Chime form my pc, a balloon will pop up for new hardware not recognized (vista) then press the power button and then it turns on, unplug the usb cable and make sure the source is set to tv / video or else it will power back off and you will have to start all over. Theres NOT A PERMANENT fix yet but this is what I do every time I want to use the TV, I have a laptop so I use it as the Monitor just to watch movies. If you have a desktop I recommend keeping the cable handy BUT DO NOT LEAVE THE USB CABLE IN FOR LONG USES. THE SERVICE PORT IS COVERED FOR A REASON!!!

Hi There, I am sorry to hear about your power supply problem for the Television. Unfortunately, I do not have that part. However, if you are not having any success obtaining that part, I will suggest having the defective board repair. Here is a company that repairs power supply board. http://www.power-supply-repair.com/power-supply-repair/switch-mode-power-supply-/ Hope this information helps. Good Luck, Mike

you have a broken inverter board. I have a LT30HV, and it had the same problem. The inverter board supplies power to the backlight. Swap it out with a good one, and you're back in business.
To test, take a bright flashlight and point it at the screen just an inch or so off the surface. If you can see your picture, then you have a blown inverter.
it may not be worth fixing it. Wait for a good sale on a new one. My inverter cost about 150, and it was a remanufactured part. Not as good as the original part as it flickers just a tad. I had to take the entire TV apart, with pieces literally everywhere. My cats loved it.
