A Canon Power shot A70 was demagnetized.

I picked up my Canon Power Shot A70 with my hand that had a magnetic bracelet on it and now it won't take pictures. The only thing I get on the screen is a frame of purple around a black picture and there is static lines that keep running through the screen. When I snap the picture, that is also what I get. I got a new memory card and that did not help. Is there any way to fix it?
