Can I set up to receive fax or leave a message on the same line

my machine is already set up to receive a fax after 3 rings, but I don't know how to set it up so the person calling can leave a message if they do not want to send a fax. I have voicemail from Time Warner on the phone line.

You need to connect answering machine to the external phone jack on the All-In-One. Then press button Auto Answer. More info at http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/4200/ug/en/frameset.html
