Question about Samsung SGH-a737 Cellular Phone
Any water or liquid exposure on the phone will damage it's mother board. It needs to be fixed and needs a replacement on other parts on it, there is no assurance that it can still be fixed.

Remove the battery and wash the phone out with distilled water. Saltwater is very conductive and you need to get the residue off of the internal parts of the phone. Now place the phone in a warm dry place for a few days. If you have a forced air heating system, place the phone in front of a vent. Do not place it on a radiator. If this doesn't work, you might need a new phone.
