Blinking red lights on circuit boards usually mean an error has occured. Check all your wiring and connections. Make sure the blower fan spins freely. Check the sensor wiring. Do you smell burnt electrical any place? Are you familiar with pulling the circuit board and checking the solder points on the back side?

I need a list of codes for my lennox hp26-036-7p the red and green lights on the outside unit are flashing continuously. the outside unit acts like it wants to come on and i can her it running but it is...

LED Flash list should be located on the inside of the unit's electrical panel by the wiring schematic, and by counting the flashes in between the longer pauses should give you the diagnostic code. A continuous steady flash can also mean normal operation, and something else on the inside could be holding you out like a float switch tripped (located on emergency pan underneath Air Handler Unit If Applicable) etc.

How to wire condenser and air handler to the t-stat

Assuming this is a standard unit the thermostat connections you will use: Y, R, G, W and possibly C.

Run two conductor thermostat wire to the condenser. The condenser will have two wires to connect. Connect the two conductors to the condenser wires and run them in to the air handler.

At the air handler, connect the two condenser wires to: Y (yellow) and C

Run 4 or 5 conductor thermostat wire from the air handler to the thermostat. At the thermostat, connect the yellow wire to Y, the white wire to W, the green wire to g, and the red wire to r.

At the air handler, connect the thermostat wires: White to w1, yellow to Y, green to G, and red to R

*Y will now be connected to the thermostat and the condenser
*If you have 5 conductor wire to the thermostat, connect the last wire (which is probably blue) to C
At the air handler, connect the last wire (blue) to C. This will enable you to have 24 volts at the thermostat in case the thermostat actually requires 24 volts to operate it.

R=hot
G=fan
Y=cool
W=heat

Amana heat pump/AEPF variable spd air handler system works great, but air flow at the higher speed is just too noisy (ducts are not very wide). Is there a way to limit how fast the air handler / blower...

Open the airhandler -should be a speed selector on the main board. If not -checkt he installation/set-up manual. May be some dip switches you can turn on or off to modify blower speed.
