I know and thia is a sicknesa with nissan and, i had this iasue itbcost me tons of cash teying to figure it out, check the coil pack plugs are make proper contact. What happens at a certain rpm the vibration causes them not to make contact cutting the car and then starting up sometimes and the fuel consumption and power is ridiculous

I have Nissan Tiida Latio 2005. Engine gives scratchy sound on start up in morning and after long time being off. Sound is so scratchy.

ot may be a belt noise
before starting put a bit of soap detergent on the belt
after starting if the noise is gone , there are spray on belt quietening products on the market
if it is still there have the running bearings checked by an accredited mechanic.
