Printing from web is really small

Sometimes when I print something off the web, the font (and pics) is really really small. Tried printer settings etc. Prints OK offline. I have Dell w/XP 2002 and HP1210 printer.

How do i make my print larger onmy kodak esp3.2

I depends upon what you are printing from. For example, if you are printing from a web page, sometimes there is a selection available on the web site to increase the size.

If the problem is the size that is printing out, I usually do a "cut and paste" of the text from the web page and then paste it onto a blank document page. You can then change the font and/or size of the text.

One other suggestions is in the "printer" settings, select the choice for "no borders" or "no margins" and that will allow the text to expand slightly.

Change font size in e mail

The printer prints whatever it's told to by the computer. Your printer really doesn't control the fonts.

When you are printing stuff from the internet (web pages, email, etc.) the reason for the small print is that it is related to the size of the monitor and it's viewing setup (the higher the screen resolution, the smaller the print will be when printing it out even though it looks good on the monitor).

One way you can make the print larger when printing internet stuff & emails is by changing the print view size on the screen to a larger size in your web browser (this is separate from your other setting you've already setup). Go to the menu bar at the top (i.e. Internet Explorer), click on "View," then "Text Size" then select a size like "Larger" or "Largest" (something higher than what you're currently set to.)

Another method is to go to your menu bar at the top of your web browser, click on "File" then "Print Preview". At the top of the window there should be a small window with "Shrink To Fit" in it. Click the arrow for a drop down list and choose something probably above 90% or more (maybe 100 or 125%) and see how it changes the print size of what is to be printed out.

The only other method is to copy & paste the text into a text editing software like Word and adjust the text size there. If you're using a text program, then you simply adjust the size of the text to a 12 or 14 point, or larger, font size (adjust depending on the font and size you need) and that should do the trick.

I have a new Dell computer, and when we got everything hooked up it prints really small. iv tried 3 diff. connects from radio shack and it still prints small. its a leximark T520 and a 2010 Dell.

Printing is a function of the software that you are using. If for instance you are using Word, you change the print size by clicking on the font size feature. Usually a small window up in the right corner on the tool bar indicates the size of the font, but there are other ways of getting to it. The number lower means smaller, for instance 12 is normal print where 25 is very very large. look around on your printing software.

The size of print that comes out of the printer is extremely small even though computer shows regular size. what do i do?

If you're printing an office document, then print size is regulated by the font size chosen in said document.

If you're printing a web page, I take it you have the "print" icon on your toolbar.

Click on the arrow down for the menu, select "Page setup" - Click on font and set the size of font to 10, 12 or whatever you're comfortable with.

PRINTED TEXT IS SO SMALL IT IS VERY HARD TO READ

Assuming you are using a Windows computer, the size of text printed by the printer is usually set by the program doing the printing, not by the printer itself. If you are using Microsoft Word, for example, choose Format - Font and then select the Font size. If this is no help to your problem, post a new comment with more information on what program or utility you are using to do the printing.

I have a x2350, it worked good for a while but all of a sudden when i print something it prints in mini fonts, so small i cant read the words. i don't know how to fix it,can you help.

The 2350 has no fonts resident in the printer. It only prints dots that the program tells it to. Try printing from another application/program. Maybe a picture. If that looks OK, the problem is with your word processor or whatever application you are printing words from. If the picture is small too, check your printer driver settings to see if you have anything fancy set like N-up.

Printing not dark and bold.

Well, I can tell you that on Microsoft's Notepad application, I changed the default font to Courier >Bold< and that seemed to help the problem for that application. Font looks like a normal font when printed on the DCP-7020 now. However this is, admittedly, a very limited solution, sort of last-ditch workaround. Haven't noticed the problem particularly with web pages. You might also try looking at the "Text" option. That helps sometimes..
