Dryer ignites inconsistantly - Maytag MDG308DAWW Gas Dryer

It's another name for the ignition control module, costs about $50 at AutoZone....
A) Controls dwell or on time of ignition coils primary winding.
B) When not replaced, vehicle could experience no- or hard start, long crank time, misfire, lack of power, inconsistent transmission shift points, spark plug fouling, catalytic converter failure, poor fuel economy or CEL/MIL illumination

make sure the vent hose is clean and not kinked.clean the lint screen EVERY load! also check the seal around the door.

The glow coil or glow bar heats up and a sensor on the side reacts to the heat and then sends a signal to a gas valve.(solenoid valve) When the gas doesn't ignite when the coil is glowing... here are some reasons. 1. The sensor on the side of the burner assembly isn't working or sending power to the valve. 2. The valve is getting power but not opening. 3. The ignitor is not glowing hot enough to activate the flame sensor. Usually it is the sensor or the igniter not the valve.

you may need to check the lint trap and clean it .. also try cleaning out the dryer vent... if this doesnt work , try changing the drine belt...

you have either a thermistor at fault of the heating element isnt operating properly

the booster coil gets hot and stops working just replace all three and give me thumbs up...i get$60 for a house call

If it is fuse unit would not work at all. Would say it is probably one of the thermostats.

there is only 1 element. were you taking these readings with the wires on them?
the other 2 were thermostats.was there lots of lint?
sounds like you may have bad thermostat.
