Question about Heating & Cooling
If the fan blade on your air conditioner has a ring that runs around the outer perimeter of the fan blades, then the unit was designed to operate in this way. These units use the evaporation of this water to improve their efficiency. It really should not be getting much on the motor though. The water is supposed to be thrown on the condenser to help cool it. If there is only a small amount of water getting on the motor it shouldn't be a problem.Just be sure your unit has a good ground which it should if all the prongs on the plug are intact.
