SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Can't disassemble massager.

I don't have the Homedics programmable, but I have taken apart my Brookstone programmable (and lots of old Homedics massagers).

I'm going to guess the screws concealment method is similar. On the under side of the massager, look for small oval-shaped outlines that are the same color as the rest of the body. Mine had four. These are little plastic plugs that you can pry out with a tiny flat screwdriver or a razor blade. The screws are hidden under these plastic plugs.

I hope this helps

I was given a homedics percussion action handheld massager with heat. It won't work at all. It does nothing!

Check that you have power and that there is a lit LED when a massage attachement is put into the top. Otherwise check this link for further instructions and power issues.

Power light flashes continuously. No response from the unit other than light on the "wheels" of the messager. Model QRM-400.

Good day!!!

that problem has 2 causes its either power supply board or main board/control.....

please check the power supply...

faulty(leaky/dried) electrolytic capacitor in the power supply section. In the first stage of symptoms warm up will make itself stable and the unit will power up after a few attempt of plugging and unplugging from the outlet but it will get worst, time will come that the unit will not power up at all.

Leaky capacitor has a physical indication of fault like bulged/dome at the top and can be easily identify like in the sample picture below.

jdvillanueva_88.jpg

Leaky capacitor with dome at the top.

Dried capacitor has no physical indication of fault, you must have a capacitor checker to determine its condition, if not available you should replace all electrolytic capacitor in the power supply section. It will not cost you much because it is one of the cheapest parts on that board.

Click this LINK for more information regarding electrolytic capacitor.

If the power supply is stable and no bulged capacitors...The problem is on the main board..

if the main board is defective,,that is not for D.I.Y because the sensitive parts inside and usually the parts are surface mount type..Please replaced it with the new board..

but before you replaced the board please try to check first the power supply as I first mentioned..
if you have multimeter its better..just check the Vcc 5vdc..if have voltage drop..
