How old is this tool and when was the last time it was serviced. It sounds like you have a bad oring or the firing valve is stuck. I would recommend looking at a breakdown and see if you are comfortable in performing the work. If you are handy it is not a big problem. Let me know what you want to do and I will find a schematic for you.

You will have to take it to a Senco approved repair facility. Sounds like the head seals or rings are shot. Dirt getting in the hose ends when you connnect and reconnect is a possiblity.

Air comes out the nose of my dewalt framing nailer

Again sounds like blown O ring give it a squirt of 3in1 oil and fire it several times (if oil is compatible in your gun). Repair center if that doesn't work. Trash can also get in the air orifice and stop moving parts from moving.

I have a senco sn2 nailer, the firing valve washer broke.\r\nwhat is the correct replacement part for this? will the same part that works on a sn325 fit the sn2? ive seen it listed on ebay saying it fits...

First make sure you have an SN2 or an SN2+,,,there are differences,,,go to senco.com and get the parts list and exploded view of the gun,,,,then go to juldan.com,,,they are the best of stocking most of the parts for obselete Senco tools!!

Nail gun doesn't shoot and air blowing out vent constant.

We used nail guns for years. I still own 6 guns, but they aren't used much anymore.
You have a 'blown head gasket.'
Or there is debris from the air hose that got lodged into the gun.
There is a head gasket and a trigger gasket.
Both can blow out any time from use, lack of oil, or they can stick open from debris.
You can take apart the head and clean it up and add oil to see if that solves problem.
You can order a gun re-build kit for your model and put in the parts yourself.
You can have a nail gun repair shop do the job.

Nail guns require gun oil.
If you don't use gun for a while, oil should be put into air hose opening and then left to run down into gun. More oil is better.
If you use 3-in-1 oil or some oil besides gun oil, then it will corrode the gaskets.
When storing air hose and guns, put tape over openings so they stay clean.
Before hooking air hose to a gun, you can also put a blower on hose and blow out the line first

My craftsman framing nailer has two nails jammed in head. Is this something I can repair myself?

Yes, just disconnect the air line and get in there and dig them nails out, don't wait for somebody else to work on it. Do it yourself. The front of that gun should lift up and expose the nails coming through, pull them out with pliers, make it clear, then reload and fire it back up and see what happens, a lot of times the generic nails will clog up.

When i push the trigger air is comming out but the gun is not shooting

make sure the safety release where the nail comes out is depressed. also check to see if it is low in nails/staples. I have an older nail gun that will stop when it is low on nails

Gun stopped driving nails, air escapes from top,

has the gun been cleaned and oiled, i think not.

take the head bolts out of the top of the gun. make sure you pay attention to how everything comes out so you can put it back together.

shake the gun upside down so that the piston comes out. wipe everything down with any petroleum based cleaning solvent to remove all the gunk and reassemble.

pour about 10 dropsof oil down the air input, let it sit there about 5 mins and hook up the air and it should work
