Question about Saeco Odea Giro Plus Coffee Maker

Machine stoppped working

My saeco odea giro worked for 2 weeks and it no longer brews. The alarm light is permanently on. It will not prime. I have tried cleaning all parts, descaling, everything. When i follow the instructions to prime it, no water comes out and the spout is not clogged. What should I try next?

No. It does not make any sound. Thank you for your response.

I will try this and let you know how it works. Although the machine was used for approximately 2 weeks it was purchased about 6 months prior. It stayed in the box until we were finished remodeling. Thank you for your help.

Try this remove the brew unit and clean the screen on the unit, then insert unit, and open steam/hot water valve to prime. If that does not work then there might be a malfunction with the pump, I am assuming that the machine is only 2 weeks old?

The warning light on usualy means that the brew unit, dregs tray or water tank needs attention or is not inserted properly.

Hello,
Look at the brewing group where the top strainer is. The small holes are blocked with coffee. The water can not pass through them.
You will need to unfold the two screws at the top and then remove the strainer, grow and clean it and clean it if the holes are blocked.
Do this only

I have a Saeco Odea Go and my puck in the dreg drawer are really wet and I have water leaking (brown so with coffee) under the dreg drawer. how I can fix it ?

I recently had this problem. I throughly cleaned and lubricated the brew group as directed by the manual. Apparently if the brew group doesn't move smoothly enough it won't grind the correct amount of beans. Try lubricating and then brewing 2-3 cups to have the machine recalibrate the grind amount.

Hi, I have a saeco odea giro plus that has just started to leak nearly all of the brewed coffee into the dreg drawer! Any ideas? thanks in advance...

I had a crack in the tube that connected to the brew group that resulted in a similar dumping of coffee in the dregs (and below the dreg drawer and onto the counter) in my Saeco Odea Giro. Replacing the "Saeco Odea Giro Coffee Dispensing Tube, part number 11003468, fixed my problem. You can replace this yourself if you are very handy. These photos are very helpful (The Go seems pretty similar to the Giro.) http://odeago.zxq.net/Odea_Go_Repair/Welcome.html

Re Odea Giro Plus - Cannot stop the red alarm

The problem is with the flow meter which is a turbine unit that is installed before the pump.Either there is a blockage or the unit is bad.Have to open the machine to get into it.

Seaco Giro Quick Flashing Red Alarm

Bypass the door interlock with a magnet (the red light will go out when you have the magnet correctly placed above the group). Brew a cup and watch to see how the water is getting into the hopper. Once you know how it is getting into the hopper it should be relatively easy to determine how to fix it.

Red alarm light permanently on!

Hi.
First turnthe machine on.
Then take out everything watertank, dreg draw and brewingunit and have the door opened to the brewing area.

have them out for about 1 minute and then put it back together again.
if this dosent help please check if the machine respond to removing the dregdraw, beanlid.

It will do it by making the constant red ligth flash instead.

if they respond make sure that the watertank is filled to max.
if that is the case it is the watertank sensor that is broken.
