In settings, I want to change from low colour to high clour 32 bit. Because everything is visible in blurred state. Windows XP.

Hi

Thank you for your query

Please do the following

1) Right click on the desktop
2) Left click on properties
3) On Display settings windo that will open up please click on the tab entitled 'settings'

Inside this tab there will be a option to change the colour resolution and colour quality (i.e. 16 bit, 32 bit etc)

If the screen is in a blurred state you may also need to change the screen resolution

I hope this helps.

Restart at 32 bit depth color

Use System Failure Settings to Stop Automatic Restarts.

1. Click Start and Open the Control Panel
2. Go to System.
3. Select Advanced Tab and then go down to Startup and Recovery.
4. Settings then uncheck the Automatically Restart.

Try that and see if you can sort it out from there. Hope this helps!

Toshiba laptop dvd will not work

Click on the Control Panel, then Display, then Settings Tab. Change the Color quality to 32 bits.
If you cannot change the setting to 32 bits then you most likely have not installed the correct video card driver.
To get the correct driver, go to the Toshiba WEB site, then to the support/download page and download the correct version Windows driver for your model laptop and then install it on your laptop.
You will then be able to change the screen resolution and bit color.

Monitor color display problem

Go to the control panel. Click on display. The display applet is your next stop. The display applet is your central location for all of your display settings, including resolution, refresh rate, driver info., and color depth. The display applet has 5 tabs: Thmes, Desktop, Screen Saver, Appearance, and Settings. The 5th tab is where you make adjustments that relate directly to your monitor and video card. Look at the Settings tab. At the bottom of the dialog box, you'll see 2 options. Screen Resolution and Color Quality. By moving the Screen Resolution slider, you can change the resolution. The most common resolutions are 640x480, 800x600, 1,024x768, and 1,280x1,024.Your system may have more or fewer resolution options.

The color quality is the number of colors displayed on the screen .You can change the screen resolution with a simple slider and adjust the color depth from 4-bit all the way up to 32-bit color.

Running a 32-bit color gives a nice, realistic tone to images, and many games insist on it.

Clicking the Advance button opens another dialog box with 4 or more tabs.

The monitor tab gives you details about the currently installed monitor and enables you to make changes to the driver and the refresh rate.

After you make your changes to your monitor and it still is not working properly, it must be your video card which is not seated.
In layman term, your video card is not plugged in firmly in the slot!!

This is a fairly common occurrence, typically due to signal loss. The longer the total cable run (monitor to computer connector) the less loss you will have. The longest KVM to computer cable I can use reliably these days is about 12-15? at 1024 x 768 at 32 bit color or 8? for 1280 x 1024 at 32 bit color. Things you can do to reduce loss: -Reduce the length of the total cable run. -Increase the quality of the cables used. I only use low loss cables now and have far fewer issues. -Change the video card, some cards can push a signal a longer distance that others. -Reduce the resolution/colors the video card displays. -Try a different monitor or if possible use a different (low loss) cable to connect the monitor to the KVM. Let us know how it turns out or if you have any other questions.

Features of each record mode

The details for each record mode are as follows: RAW: RAW data is unprocessed image data in its original state to which white balance, sharpness, contrast, color conversion and other processes have not been applied. CAMEDIA Master can be used to display RAW data and save it in other image formats. A RAW plug-in is also available for Adobe Photoshop which also provides the ability to process images in 32-bit color depth. TIFF: This is the highest-quality mode. images are saved as uncompressed data, which is the best for printing or image processing on a computer. SHQ: This is a high quality mode using the JPEG format. Because the compression rate is very low, high quality images can be stored. HQ: This is a high quality mode using JPEG format, with medium compression. Because the compression rate is higher than SHQ, file sizes are smaller. More images can be saved to a card. The file size can be changed in the 3:2 or Enlarge size mode as well as SHQ. 3:2 Mode: Ordinarily the image aspect ratio is set to 4:3. Due to change the ratio to 3:2, the picture size becomes 2592 x 1728 so that the image can be printed without losing the image borders at a photo lab. 3:2 can be set in the TIFF, SHQ, or HQ mode. SQ1/SQ2: SQ1 is used for resolutions above 1600 x1200 and SQ2 is used for resolutions below 1600 x1200. For both, you can choose high compression to reduce noise or normal compression to save more images.
