i think its a hardware related problem. if you have a little bit hardware knowhow then i have some ideas :
1) modify vga driver
2) to improve pci bus management find an advance driver
3) check power management in bios setup
as a common user you may also try with different high resolution lcd/crt monitors

Asus do not provide win 7 driver for this motherboard.

search & download driver from google and install it on ur system.
