Because it is one of the most used buttons on the phone they have a tendancy to wear out.

User guide tells how to make a call but not how to answer one. What do you do when it rings?

Press the same button your press to call. the GREEN SEND button will answer. You can change how you answer it in your settings menu. It depends on the phone model. All can answer by pressing the "SEND" button.

If i want to reject some call. thn how could it b possible

Without a specific make and model from you, I dont know about your phone specifically, but most cellphones,if you press the End Call button while the phone is ringing, it will reject the call.

Most cellphones send the caller to voicemail when the call is rejected. Some simply cut the caller off.

I am almost certain that this will work, I have yet to see a cellphone that doesn't.

Make sure you have Any Key Answer turned OFF in your Call Menu...

Some phones let you choose which activity answers incoming calls. Most options are Answer Key to answer, Any Key To answer, or Flip Open to answer. Choose the Answer key Only to pick up calls.

Then, when you press the End Call button, your caller will be rejected....
Good Luck!!

LG Vu answer buttons is broken

This won't fix the broken button, but there is another alternative. Press the main menu button, then the last button on the bottom right (settings), then "Call". From there you should be able change your "Answer Mode" from Send Key Only to Any Key.

Sony Ericsson K750i

If the calls are going straight to the answer phone. Your phone must have active diverts set up.

Go to, Menu/Settings/Calls/Divert calls/Deactivate all.

This "setting" is a signal you send to the works, it is not activated ON your phone but BY your phone.
