When I hover the pen over the tablet without actually pressing the pen against it, it draws a line, not only that, but on photoshop, whenever I press the pen on the tablet, it right clicks like mad. I've no idea what is wrong with this thing. what can be done to fix this?
When i put a tablet pen over ,it acts like I pressed the buttons wich are on the pen.It takes actions by itself.I oppened it and tried to fix it but I lost interest when I've seen that I got to research its elements and to unerstand how its made. I want it to take actions while clicking on is buttons. I have the same problem exactly, but not only in photoshop. When I'm on the desktop it still right clicks randomly, as if I've pressed the button, and I get the context menu for the desktop. In some rare cases, like the freeware "Pencil" it behaves as it's supposed to but I'm Interested in Photoshop, not kids' toys. It is currently impossible to use the tablet for anything serious, not even file handling. It acts unexpectedly and very randomly to rely on it. Please, give a hand here! Note that I've installed the latest Vista drivers and I'm using CS3

I have the same problem too. I bought the genius so that i could do my drawings in photoshop. I'm an amateur artist so i decided to buy this budget pensketch instead of a wacom. But every time i hover above the tablet it rightclicks and in photoshop i get dots everywhere. This annoying me and I think it could with a driver update, but genius support is zero to none.
I read an article in 3dworldmagazine and they published a review about drawing tablets and the genius pensketch came out with the best value for money. well they were WRONG! IT DOES NOT EVEN WORK PROPERLY

My tablet was working fine for the first two days, but then it also went insane! I think the whole problem's in the pen, I tried it in 3 computers, one of them running linux, and ruled out a software malfunction. I narrowed it down to two things: either the pressure sensor, or the battery keeps slipping on and off.

Reason: Random clicks hapens becouse moving tip not return to the front. It continue to sent chaotic pressure messages. Some times, when you start to lift pen, tip start to resilient and we have ugly dots again.
Here is solution: May be auto silicon oil wil help by reducing rubbing. Or harder spring will help? I use little bit of plasticine. I push it under the tip. It prevent tip from resilienting. I have no problems, since i made this.

If you are experiencing issues with the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 pen drawing while hovering, there are a few steps you can take to try and fix the issue:
Adjust the cursor speed: You can adjust the cursor speed in the Huion driver settings to make the cursor movement more accurate and less sensitive.
Adjust the pen pressure sensitivity: You can also adjust the pen pressure sensitivity in the Huion driver settings to make the pen less sensitive to hovering.
Check the pen nib: Make sure that the nib of the pen is not worn or damaged, and if it is, replace it with a new one.
Check the pen tip sensor: Make sure that the pen tip sensor is not dirty or damaged, and if it is, clean or replace it.
Reinstall the Huion driver: Uninstall the Huion driver and then reinstall the latest version from the Huion website.
Check for updates: Make sure that your tablet is running the latest firmware and check for any updates.
If the problem persists, it would be best to contact Huion's technical support for further assistance. They may have more specific troubleshooting steps to help you fix the issue.
Have you tried pulling the nib out (the end bit you draw with)? It could be that something is sticking the nib further inside the pen than it should, which is telling the pen you are applying pressure. As far as I know there is a little spring inside the pen that the nib pushes on when you touch the pen to the tablet. Perhaps the spring is permanently squished in.
My guess is that the pen just needs the batteries replaced. You only change the tip when it wears out from drawing a lot. there sould be some software that lets you change the button configuration on the pen. look on the products webpage. should find some software to help you out
ya, i had teh same problem ... i had recenlty downloaded "pen attention" its a software that some guy made to make the pen curser look bigger in one note ... i uninstalled this program and now the problem is gone!!! so just make sure that you delete any programs that you have downloaded tht might be interfeering the the tablet's performance (especilaly programs or addons that my have been developed by non-wacom personelle for the tablet)
