Mine does this occasionally, I think it was doing this because the little white plastic ring around the headphone jack broke off and the headphone plug was shorting two of the contacts together because it wasn't going in straight. I glued the broken ring back on and it seems fine now. Just plug your headphones in while it is off and you should be fine.
