Question about Weber Genesis Silver B Grill

1 Answer

We just had the propane tank checked, reattached

We just had the propane tank checked and it is fine. We reattached it and the grill won't lite, manually or otherwise. We can't find our manual. The grill (Weber Silver) is seven years old. One detail of interest is that it has been under a not-so-weatherproof cover in the Boston area which has had nonstop rain for almost 3 weeks. Might it start up once the sun bakes it a little?

Stick a fan heater next to the burners for a few hours

Or pour some lighter fluid into the burner holes and set fire to it

Make sure you have a long match

New Tank won't light Weber Grill

Try checking the regulator, this is the round metal piece connected to the gas line. If this is not level flat the valve inside will not let propane flow through.
