Burn another copy of the rescue cd and see if the copy works,,
Use an original windows cd insted of the rescue cd,,
if those dont work,
You will need to replace your harddrive,
and this might render (streess the word might) your recovery cd useless in which case you will need to get another windows cd..

Go to Windows Updates and see if there is an update their sometimes that happens with drivers. Start there Updates and install all the updates hardware updates as well. If that does not assist you there may be a fix at the Sony Vaio support drivers and download for your driver start there. I would download the driver online for the wireless software. Click Here to go to the driver site enter your model and info they request and download whatever you need from there. This should get you up and running again. I hope that this assisted you.
