How do i replace a colored and blank ink cartridge in my hp photosmart 8150?

Hi,

The Open the front access door and the Carriage ( which holds the cartridges should move in center )
Push down the Cartridge ( which is in the cartridge slot ) and pull it out.

To install a new cartridge, Slide the cartridge from downwards and push up and it should get snapped.

Regards,
Ron

Is it just stuck? Because if it is just use WD40 on the hinges. If it's broken, then sorry. Can't help you.

What causes the error message oxc18a0001 for printer number c7280.

This message appears when there is ink system failure.. either the cartridges that you are using got damaged or are refilled and also happens when the memory of the printer goes bad

The belt that moves the printer carriage is broken.

The best way to find a replacement part is to find a non-working printer of the same make and model. HP's are very common and by searching the major ebay or craiglist website you will likely find one. Otherwise, post on one of the possible sites that you are looking for a non-working printer.

Install cartridge missing on Deskjet 6940

Please remove the cartridges from the printer. Take a dry lint free paper towel and gently wipe the contacts on the back of the cartridge (not the bottom from where ink is present). Wipe the contacts inside the printer (on cartridge carrier). Please snap the cartridges back into the cartridge carrier and please try to print a printer self test.

HP PhotoSmart 7550 printer - how to get the top off?

There are three special types of screws on the back of the printer. Using a TORK BIT T-10 screw driver remove the two top screws that holds the gray top on. There are several snap connections on the bottom edge of the gray case.
