I downloaded all of the new drivers for my QuickCam Connect, install them, plug in my webcam, which my pc recognizes as an unknown USB device and asks me for the CD for install...which I do not have...I thought downloading the new drivers would solve that problem? so when I open my logitec exe, it says no webcam can be detected (even though my PC clearly shows that one is) and asks me to click "reconnect" when I have plugged it into the USB...which it already is...no device found when I hit reconnect no matter which USB port I plug it in to (and yes, ever USB port I plug it in to causes a new "new device found" window to pop up so I know that they are plugged in). Help please

I have had the web cam for ages but never used it and have not been able to install it as I cannot find a disk. . It has no model number except cav2 on the rubber base. I was recommended to download a driver from the web but cannot locate the model from the pictures
