Re: M825GV92AW2200

If you dont have the motherboard manual they you can look around the area of the bios battery and see if there are any open jumpers

failing this unplug the power cord from the pc and remove the bios battery (large silver watch type battery) and leadve it for around 10-15 mins

replace the battery then the power cord and when you boot
it will allow you to enter the cmos set up screen

hope this helps

NO beep no display.

Hello try to renew the power supply, with one you know is working.

I think the power supply is not giving enough power, or have burned a power rail.

Here is the homepage:

But the mainboard could also be failing itself.

1) Look at the bottom of the Mercury logo screen when it comes up.

2) Memorize or write down the -> enter BIOS Setup, or enter CMOS Setup key.

3) Restart the computer.

Let it go to Windows, then Start > Turn Off Computer > Restart.

Won't go to Windows? Hold down the CTRL and ALT and DELete keys AT THE SAME TIME. This will restart your computer.

AS SOON AS the monitor screen goes blank, (Windows is restarting), tap on the enter BIOS Setup key repeatedly.
Tap in 2 second intervals.

Hear a series of beeps? They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and you are causing them. Ignore the beeps.

Computer is off?

AS SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on the enter BIOS Setup (CMOS Setup) key.

The enter BIOS Setup window goes by F-A-S-T. The above method/s will get you into BIOS Setup.

PC start directly

Explain what you mean when you say 'when i open the pc from main switch'.
Also, something you should try is updating the CMOS, or in other words flashing the BIOS firmware. Go to your motherboards manufacturers website and see if there are any BIOS updates for it.

I could not access BIOS or anything else on my computer.

Starting the PC without memory will result in a ?beep code? error, which is the beeping you are hearing. Replacing the memory should make the beeping go away. As far as accessing your BIOS if you PC won?t display anything they accessing your system BIOS won?t accomplish anything. -When you start your PC with the memory installed do you see anything displayed on the screen? -Was the PC operating correctly before your reinstall? -Why did you void the CMOS? -Why did you remove the PC memory?

Continuas restart

Check your cmos battery as it may be too flat to continue to the P.O.S.T If you find it to be flat replace and then you will have to reset the time and date in the bios setup screen when prompted. If the continuas re booting persists, turm pc off and then on again pressing F8 as it boots and hopefully you get into the safe mode menu and you eill have to highlight the line that reads Last Known Good Configuration, press enter then allow a re boot.

Will not boot all I get is 0ne long beep

Replace the memory, as this can give you a fault on it's own if not fitted. Reset the cmos by shorting the CLRCMOS jumper or the JBAT1 terminal on pins 2-3, then back to pins 1-2 on the mobo, and try again. If you can get in the cmos and set the time and date etc, yet you still get the beep there could be a processor problem, but if it freezes in the cmos set up then you will have bios chip fault, so take back the whole kit to your supplier, as he may wish to try it himself first before replacing.
