Power Button not working

Switch off your phone by pressing and holding the power button.Then, press and hold the power button and the volume down button (Power-on + Volume down button) simultaneously until the phone powers on to the special screen. Pay attention to the next screen that shows up, you should see about four options, scroll down to Factory Reset or Clear Flash and select it. (Use the " Home button" or Switch button to select it).After confirmation, the factory reset process starts immediately. Memory could server me wrong, but on some tablets you have to hold down the reset button and the power button at the same time in order to get a complete reset. I think this one might fall into that category. The following sequence works with other models of the same manufacturer, so give these a go if the first suggestion fails.
The button to hold down is the menu button next to the home button. With it powered on hold down tthe menu and power buttons until it goes off, then release the power button and then hold it again while holding the menu button. An android with an exclamation and triangle will appear. Tap the power button and the menu for reset or updates appears. Select factory restore and follow instructions then select reboot at next screen.

This question is a bit old, but to help others with similar issues like this here are some tips:
• Press the Home Button
• Double click the Home button quickly and choose another app to switch to
• Hold down the power button and shut down when given the choice on screen
• Hold both the Power button and Home button until the computer displays a white or black Apple logo in the center of the screen

Hold down power button for about 30 seconds (or until phone recognizes power off), let it shut down.Afterwards, hold power button down maybe 10 seconds, release and let it reboot. If it performs normally, great. If not, check the following page:

Have you tried a reset or a reboot? Try these steps:

1. Power off the cell phone by holding down the power button for at least 5 seconds. The screen should turn black. Now, let go of the button and press it again until the screen lights up again.

2. If the screen is still white while holding down the power button, open up the back of the cell phone and remove the battery. Wait for 30 seconds before putting the battery back in, to allow the software to reset itself. Put the battery back in and press the power button until the screen lights up again.

3. If you removed the battery and you still have a white screen, you may have a software issue. Go to a local cell phone repair company and have it replaced or fixed.

You could try to reboot your phone by holding down the power button & the home button simultaneously. That may help.

Try this to see if can give us some codes with it's on board diagnostics. Hold down the function button of your laptop and then the power button while still holding down the Fn/Function button on the left side of the keyboard. See if this gives you either an error message on your screen or, flashing lights above your keyboard. Pay attention, write down what lights where lit up what ones flashed, etc. This is to diagnose if the LCD isn't working. Comment back if you get either the light code or the error code on the screen. IF nothing happens try holding the Fn/Function button on the left side of keyboard and holding the F4 button, see if that makes any lights flash above your keyboard.

2. unplug power
3. plug power back in, holding down the last button on the left, then push the power button to turn back on and off three times, holding on the third try until it comes on- hold for ten seconds and release; the monitor should work again
