Why doesnt my powerwasher pump out water

check for a blocked jet in the end of the wand ( squashed hoses or blocked hose to the wand)
the blocked jet has the same affect as not pulling the trigger and the pressure regulator bypasses the water back into the pump

Last week my electric power went off for about one hour, in my kitchen I heard water rushing out my drains. when the lights came on I had no water. The well man came and said he had to turn my pressure...

It sounds like the bladder in your pressure tank is water logged. Turn your pump off and open a tap and let the pressure off. Once the water has completely stopped coming out of the tap go to your pressure tank and pump air into it. There should be more water come out of the tap. Continue to pump are in until you reach the pressure recommended for your tank and there is no longer water coming out of the tap. Close the water tap and turn the pump back on and this should fix the problem. If it does not you will probably need a new pressure tank. The bigger the pressure tank you have also will make the pump work less. I prefer a smaller one myself as there is less change in the shower pressure when the pump cycles than with a bigger tank but this is just a matter of prefference. Some people prefer a larger tank as it uses less power by the pump not working as often.

No water pressure coming from pump

The pump is bad and needs to be replaced. you have done all the test. On the Briggs they do have kits to rebuild the pump on your system you can just go to there website and get the rebuild kit. It is safer to go through them because they have jsut started producing the rebuild kits, and other companies have tried to copy them, but there kits are worthless. Please rate

No water coming out of the pump

Hi
Is the pump working?
Some pressure washers need to suck the water out of a container, not pressure fed from a hose.
Check the filter for blockage.

Craftsman Pressure washer will not spray

your not missing anything, check the pump, they tend to go bad over time and may need replacing. The pump provides the pressure as well as the suction for the whole process, pulling water from the hose or tank and pushing it forcefully through the pressure washer line. If the motor is running and you have the water going through the line and to the pump, and no water is coming out, my guess would be the pump.
