Being limited in funds and no knowledge of the workings of a car I feel the quotes I am receving are outrageous. if I knew it was as simple as a fuse I would attempt to fix it myself as the weather heats up I really need a running air conditioner in this sm car and pulling over every few miles to pour water on the windshield is not safe of pleasant any suggestions or ideals would really help finding out its just a fuse would really help oh and where the fuse is located on the car
I think you should go for manual first after that it will be easy for u to solve your problem. I had visited this site past 2 months before for my vehicle and find it quite helpful may be you will also get something useful here

I have the same problem with my '06 Spectra 5. I haven't noticed the knocking sound though. The weird thing is my rear window washer works fine which leads me to believe that the washer pump is still OK but what do I know :D
SOURCE: windshield wiper fluid will not squirt - wipers are fine but no fluid comes through
Either the pump is bad, or the nozzles are clogged.

No, it is not necessary to take your vehicle to the dealer for service and repair of your airbag/Passive Restraint system. Although I will say that if there are any parts required to repair the system, they will have to come from the dealer because the aftermarket simply does not handle parts for the restraint systems on almost all cars - especially a Kia. Check with your favorite shop. They may be willing to tackle this task if their scanners are equipped with the correct software to diagnose your restraint system. Some aftermarket shops will not mess with an airbag system at all. For instance, If you brought it to my shop I would handle it for you, but the shop down the street from me usually refers their airbag problems to my shop.

Replace the switch. The low beam side of the switch isn't making a connection.
