Stains from cleaning products?

My cleaning lady used Easy Off on the stainless surface (the can states OK for stainless surfaces). However, she left the spray sit on the stainless surface for a while and now the Hob top is stained in many places. Looks like the finish was taken off and now there are dark stains all over the surface. I've tried other SS cleaners and even white vinegar, but nothing seems to make the stains go away. Is there any fix for this or do I have to consider replacing the Hob top?

ApprenticeBosch (BSH appliance care) do a stainless steel conditioner you could try. I think its called Starglanz.
