1-Unplug power
2-Dry out floor first.
3-Wait for at least 6 hrs so the sensor has a chance to dry out.
4-After that plug in power so you can troubleshoot why there is a leak.
5-Most the time the Lid seal went bad after using a while.
6- Other case is that the Lid actuators go bad not pulling the seal down strong enough then there is a leak.

What type of dishwasher do you have? Has your kitchen floor flooded? If it has. The tray under dish washer isn't water tight. Moisture creates some unusual problems. Some of newer dish washer the there control panel under the top of door this also create problem especially if the switches are on the top of the door. Another moisture problem. I have repaired a new Electrolux dish was three times in less than 6 months. The floor would flood from the Maytag side load washing machine. The Madam of the house didn't tell me that the washing machine flooded the kitchen floor. No window in the door and sometime fill water solenoid would stick and fill the tube. When they open washing machine door, 12 gallons of water would spill. So I fix both of them. GB...stewbison

I have a single draw Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. I stupidly put washing up liquid in the dishwasher which resulted in a F1 problem. Water started leaking under the draw and onto my floor. I turned the...

ok , F1 means your flood switch has activated, which is underneath the drawer. now they show the F1 fault because of 2 reasons.1st there is still water underneath drawer causing switch to activate. 2nd your activator board which has the flood switch attached is faulty reading your posting it has been about 15 days since the fault happened. the water should have dryed around switch by now. if there is power to the unit and it is still coming up with F1 fault then possibly you have damaged the activator board. please reply and tell me if you have power on or off at the present time. to fix the problem it is alittle bit involved but i can guide you thru it when you reply .good luck

Th dish washer that we have is the 2draw dd-603m

A lot depends on how it happened. Is this a new installation or everything was working well until now? F1 error implies the float switch in the drawers is activated as the inlet water soneloid could not turn off. This prevents the units from being flooded.

Are you using the correct pressure setting for the water supply. Check the user manual for details. IF you don't have one, download from the fisher & paykel website.

How do i fix f1 fault code on fisher&paykel dd603 dish washer

Ah the F1 question... unplug the machine, you cannot clear this fault by pressing any buttons. What has happened is the flood switch had been activated, meaning there is water in the lower pan, under the lower drawer. You can try letting it dry-out for awhile but the cause of the flooding can be many things including bad lid lifts, a broken link support, a cracked drain line, too large of plates or someone put Dawn in it. Most likely your link support has broken and caused a dent in the lid which seals the drawer during washing. You need to have a Tech out to look at it; call F/P for someone authorized to fix it.

I have an f1 fault on the display of the dish drawer dd-603ss which i believe is the flood switch activation would you be able to help me reset it

Have you checked that there is no water remaining in the base of the dishwasher? There is probably a float attached to a microswitch in the base of the machine. A cup of water left in the base of the washer could be enough to trip the flood activation switch.

You could try tilting the dishwasher through 45 degrees to see if there is any water left inside the base.

Bosch dish washer SGS56E02GB

anti flood device has been activated, this means you have water in the base of appliance. most likely a leak, or if you have been using 3 in 1 tablets, and rinse aid this will over foam appliance and foams leaks into base.. try tipping d/w back to let water out of base..then try d/w again... if anti flood activates again...call an engineer.. ps check big nut that secures salt container to base of d/w, it can come loose which will cause water to leak into base ally
