Hotpoint aquarius wml760 noisey when spinning with stuff in but ok empty

more than likely the rear bearing has gone bad and when a load is applied the difference in weight distribution causes the knocking.

Noisey spin

The noise is from the transmission and is usually pretty expensive. You really are better off getting a new washing machine.

Drum makes a lot of noise spinning and does not spin the water out of towels or blankets

Hi, What make of machine is it? You will probably find that it is the main wash drum bearings that are noisey. This will slow the drum down so the water will not come out so effectively.Replace and away you go........

My machine is just over 3 years old and although there is no play in the rear drum bearing it is very noisey on spin.
It gets progessively loud the faster the spin speed.

All washing machines need to be balanced before using , the
feet at the bottom of washer can be screwed in or screwed out to balance machine . it may take a few tries .
Also .. overloading washer will unbalance machine
