Problem for Hampton Bay 24002 Ceiling Fan

Location of reverse switch

The pull chain does not reverse direction but simply starts and stops. The remote control does not have a function for switching direction. (UC707ST) The fan does not have lights.

Like seth said. the chain is usually for speeds..... there should be a small sliding switch that changes the direction of rotation

There should be a little black switch in the center of the fan. That is to reverse rotation. Make sure the fan is off when you switch it.
