Hi
First remove the cover, air filter and the carburator. Then remove the gas tank cap and the fuel filter from inside of gas tank,at the end of fuel line.Take off the fuel line from the hole of the gas tank(at the top),replace the fuel line, put all back together and start the engine.

Your saw is a Poulan. Try converting the cc to a model number. A 2.2cc Craftsman is often a Poulan model 2200. go to this link and find something that appears the same under (POULAN-WEED-EATER).

The IPL will help. Pay attention to the year there is a different area for older saws.
For a current saw Craftsman should have something available.

just connect them both anyway you chose. press prime button a few times to pressurise tank. you get a 50/50 chance to get it right.
if it just sucking air release pressure first by removing filler cap to prevent face full of fuel then swap pipes over on carb. i did this job a couple of weeks a go on my husky66. only use proper flexy pipe from a lawn mower centre. costs about £2.50 / foot.

check to make sure the filter is sitting nicely in the bottom of the fuel tank so it is not sucking any air. also check to make sure the choke valve is not sticking closed. check to make sure the carb is clean and clear ( if in doubt - pull the carb and spray it down with some carb cleaner ). check to make sure the air filter is clean. one last thing is to make sure the fuel lines are connected proper and make sure the chain brake is not locked. these are really the only things that cause this issue with that saw.
please let me know if you need any more help with this saw ( I have the same saw and it is like 15 feet from me as I am typing and I can give you any info that you need ).

The saw is a 41, as standard it ran a 15" bar and chain, in the UK it ran a .325 pitch, however in the US, it ran a 3/8 pitch chain, as you should change the sprocket if fitting a new chain, i would put it on .325 if it is not already, the sprocket is part no. 530069342, the 15" chain is 501840664, and the guide bar is 508926164 these are .325 pitch 050 gauge and 64 drive links, this combination will cut much faster than the 3/8 low profile combination.
