Question about Dell 5100cn Laser Printer
This sounds like there is a scratch in the yellow fuser roller... replace the imaging drum.

1/ Turn the power off
2/ Hold the up arrow and the down arrow at the same time and Power on
2/ Continue to hold till you see: Customer Mode
3/ Press the down arrow till you find: Test Print and then Enter (Enter= press the center button of the main button)
4/ Press the down arrow till you find: Gradation and then Enter
5/ Enter again to print a gradation page
6/ Enter again 8 more time (total 9 print)
7/ Power off the printer during 10 seconds.
8/ Turn it on.

I was having a similar issue with Magenta lines and spray coming out on all my prints. I changed the toner and vaccumed out/wiped down everything I could. This has solved the problem for now. Hope this helps.
