Our TV reset itsself to sales pitch

Our TV has suddenly reverted I guess you'd say to showing us all of the reasons you should "Buy this TV".  We can't change the channel, turn it off (without unplugging it) or anything. We don't have a remote for it and we'd bought a universal remote but it won't work on this TV. My serial # is 41099039 And my email is V_Bolin@yahoo.com

I've unplugged the TV and let it sit for a while thinking it might reset itself but it hasn't.

I get a large black box in the middle of the screen. The sound is good and the picture is under the solid black box. I have used all the buttons to remove the display screen. The picture stays on for about 10 seconds then the black screen appears.

1) Demo mode clears by holding vol up & chan up at the same time at the set front buttons. Or try menu & power.......

2) Black box is called a text box = part of closed-caption option.
Select CC to turn text box off.........

Note:Always provide Model # , Chassis # and age......
serial # not needed / helpful..........T.

Need to know the size of the bolts on starter for a 98 Izuzu rodeo mine are missing

the mounts?
well we have a box of metric bolts. (all shops do)
we try each 8mm or 10mm, ok one fits but is too short
so we go to store,
and buy longer bolts, using a ruler to measure what i need.
say i use a ruler and see i need, 3inch long bolts.(gren'go inches)
so 3" x 25.4 is 76.2mm or 75mm. long... (just and example!!!)
so if 8 mm fits i buy grade 8.8 or better bolts. in 8x75mm

(buy 2 bolts on in 8 and 10) and test fit them.
there is no other way. unless you have threads there.
do you?
if yes, any ruler and pitch gauge shows you what you have.
say the hole of thread seems like .31 inches, that is 8mm
and the pitch gauge shows.
most bolts this size are pitch 1.25
fine thread is 1.00 pitch.

all good shops (serious)
use this gauge.
http://www.amazon.com/Grip-Thread-Pitch-Gauge-SAE/dp/B004ROIU2A

ends guessing , and can be had for $2 on ebay.

ok i teach how to fish today.

Phone automatically keeps reverting back to do not disturb

The feature should't reset itsself after you enter feature #85 (or press the DND button again). A co-worker isn't accidently turning it on are they?
You might also check if the DND button (if programmed on the set) is stuck down.

Kodac esp3 problem

You have answered questions regarding people who have photo printers. The questions asked are based on thermal transfer image printers, not bubble jet as your answers seem to be based on. FYI if people are having issues with their thermal printers, particularly with pictures printing, "Printing" partial pages, how in the world could you deduce that there is a driver issue? You've been more harmful than helpful. If for some reason there is "No" printing being done, then sure 25% of the problem could be drivers or firmware issues. However if it all of a sudden happens, then we have to think of it like a chain on a bicycle suddenly
breaking. Which in this case has a percentage of 50% or greater being the problem.
The lucky ones, (those w/ mechanical aptitude) can simply open the printer and make the screw adjustment(don't get me wrong it's time consuming and tedious) but the unlucky ones will find a cracked gear assembly which depending on the seriousness may be able to be repaired with "Model Glue". The recommended action is to follow your warranty, should
you not have one, guess what, these models are no longer manufactured for this exact reason. Which is why Kodak changed the color to Black on the new ones. So remember, if you buy it on sale... You now have full experience as to why the item was on sale in the first place, same goes with Manufacturer coupons as well!!!! If you want an item to last you don't buy it on sale, that old wives tale of 'Overstocked Item' is a gimmick
and remember to follow the item you purchased at full price. If all of a sudden the items price drops to half price, contact the manufacture to find out why, you may have a hidden problem, and if you contact them inside your warranty range you stand a good chance of receiving a voucher for a replacement model to keep you from getting to the point you are in currently. Good luck, and remember if it's on sale, you should reconsider how long you are going to long you need the product before you buy

Throw the damn thing away. And don't even try looking on the internet for the solution. Every link will take you to a sales pitch. Very frustrating.
