Noise in the speakers

You should be using this sort of thing in a motor vehicle ,here in spain its a big fine and points on licence if the radio can be heard outside the car with the windows closed ,but?? needless it doesnt stop the boy racers i like a car to be quiet especially my jaguar if i hear any noise from more than 4 ft away i sort it straight away .But yes i had the noise when i was young with my 3 lt ford zodiac and a record player that played 45s ,memories ? if this is a rear big boom boxx speaker the check the connections inside the unit sounds like a loose wire thats all

ok...got it..so..is your player have a stereo option for the DVD..can you make sure that's selected?

Hi JPLP, A popping or 'motor boating' sound is usually a sign that one of the transistors is defective. As it happens only when tuning in the radio it is possibly in the pre amp stage. Regards John

If the MUTE is right next to the TUNED, it means the FM is muting inter-station noise until you tune a station strong enough to produce good audio. This has nothing to do with speaker MUTING.

Find FM Mode (page 14) and change it to Mono. Then you will hear the noise between stations until you find one strong enough. Install an anenna (page 3) and you might get strong enough signals to return the mode to Auto.

If you have ATT cell service, this happens when phones get too close to electronic devices. Move the phone away from devices. And when/if you live near a local radio station, or their antenna....a good chance that electronic devices will act like antennas, thus picking up radio signals.

There is a possibility that the radio is set to receive ONLY very high quality, strong signals. Maybe you are just getting the strong FM signals, and not the weak ones, and that all your AM stations are weak. When set on this mode, you dont hear the white noise of weak stations, the radio automatically blocks them out.

use a cleaning CD, it should solve the problem. If you hear noises but the reading is normal with no brakes, that is not a problem, it`s normal .

Check for nearby wireless devices and move them away. -If the audio output from the source device (i.e. DVD, CD player) is digital (i.e. PCM, DTS or Dolby Digital) you're on your own. I'd be willing to bet the output is analog (red and white RCA), because the "beeps" and "exploding sounds" you describe seem like it could be caused by interference. Try replacing the cables. Otherwise the issue is probably with your receiver.

the motor that's spinning the dvd is bad. sorry you have to buy a new one if you don't want to hear the noise. hope this help
