Unit has no power nor is display lit up. Have power to cord. tripped breaker. is there an internal fuse behind control panel

Microwave ovens have an internal fuse to protect the unit. Once you remove the white cover it is easily located on a board where the main power cable first goes into. Despite what you hear about dangerous radiation generated by microwave it is sage to turn on the microwave with the white cover off because the radiation stays within the microwave cavity. If you buy pass the door interlock then you may be exposed to some radiation escaping from the door opening. No match can go wrong in a microwave. Usually its something simple like a bad connection a burned fuse .or a burned power supply if it is microprocessor based unit.

The microwave doesn't work at all. no display, light, anything

Plug a lamp in the wall receptical in place of the microwave oven, if okay! it means the main fuse in the oven has blown. There are a number of reasons why this happens, a bad fuse, door switch that has malfunctioned, "common" cracked high voltage diode, shorted capacitor, and an open magnetron. I suggest a professional.

THERE WAS APOWER PROBLEM AND MY MICROWAVE COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING.NO DISPLAY AND NO SIGN OF AN OUTPUT

Check the main fuse inside the oven on the floor of the cabinet near where the power cord enters.

I believe you will find it needs replacement.

Microwave doesn't work

Sounds like you have a faulty control panel. I would use a meter and test the power from the control board to the magnetron and circuit board. Chances are the control panel is faulty

Fans and lights don't work on our Advantium sca2000bbb. Display does. The main fuse is OK. Is there another?

Some relays must have got stuck open. Check the following schematic. You should check the Main relay, RY14 and RY15 for lamps and relay RY6 for the fan.

For your own safety, always make sure you are working safe. Microwave units can be very deadly. Consult an expert if in doubt.

Kenmore microwave

If you jump power from the two ends of the fuse with a wire, does it work at all? Also, it may be that the control panel is just out, at least the display panel. If you open the door will the interior light turn on?
