Black display/not connected web cam

after installation of software, i was suprise to learn that when i click "view my webcam" either a black display appears or "web cam not connected" advisory appears. after reviewing the advise from this site, the webcam worked well. but when my wifi got disconnected and eventually resumed, the same problem appeared. please help.

okie just reinstall the cam drivers with cd came with it
