I have WILDBLUE, need a wired router to run more than
one computer at a time. Best buy sold me a D-Link DES-1105
It does not work. Told it is a "switch" not a router. What do I need ? NOT wireless but wired

You purchased a switch or "hub". Return it and buy a broadband router for example an D-Link EBR-2310
