You first want to be sure your hood vent exhaust fan is working properly, that your grease filters are not clogged, that your charcoal filter (if equipped) is being changed every 6 months or whatever the owner's manual recommends, and that your exhaust duct work and outlet are not blocked.

You can also download the installation instructions from the link above and they will help you in checking the ducts and outlet.

If they're all okay, to prevent future moisture buildup, I recommend wiping the condensation off the walls and inner door surfaces after cooking, and leaving the door open a while to help it dry out further.

Plus I always recommend that you use the hood exhaust vent fan whenever you're cooking on the stove top to keep heat, steam, and grease out of the controls and the door panels.

Once troubleshooting and prevention are covered, then you can clean and repair the inner door surfaces.

You have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screw(s) you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

You can also find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

If the rust is bad, the area will first have to be sanded smooth and cleaned and dried thoroughly.

Then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Builder's Square.

If the wire mesh screen is damaged beyond just surface rust, it will have to be replaced, as it prevents microwave leakage, which can result in arcing or a fire.

My door handle is broken. Is it posssible to

You should be able to buy only the door handle and avoid having to replace the entire door. carries the handle. Just type in the model number you provided and look for item #3 under the parts listing. The part number and price varies based on the color you need. Make sure you order the correct color. To access the door handle mounting screws on MOST microwave ovens, you have to remove the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. You can use a small screwdriver to carefully pry the plastic up and work your way slowly around the perimiter of the glass. Most microwave ovens also have grooves in the panel that you can insert the screwdriver into. Use care not to pry against the glass. The glass is tempered and also has an RF shield that prevents harmful microwaves from potentially harming the consumer. If you break the glass, you will need to purchase a new door.

The door handle screws are located behind the inner panel. Simply remove the broken handle and install the new one. Re-insert the inner door panel carefully and gradually work your way around the perimeter of the door glass and make sure it snaps back into place.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Rust forming between the glass panels in the door

Actually if you can use a screwdriver you can fix this problem yourself. The glass can be accessed by taking off the screws holding the inside panel to the door on. The screws are visible. Once this panel is off you will see the screws that hold the plate glass in. Keep in mind that the gasket that goes around the glass and inside the door panel are there to keep microwaves from escaping. So in all this be sure to put it back in place right. I have fixed many doors and there really is nothing to mess up. Just put it back together the same way you took it off but in reverse of course. As far as cleaning the glass there is a product call Goof Off that comes in a spray. They sell it at Lowes or Home Depot either one. Use steel wool that you can get there as well and spray a generous amount on the steel wool until it drips slightly and not on the glass directly. Clean all the areas and kinda of use a dry rag to wipe off any excess. After you've taken care of the rust stains and are satisfied take a good glass cleaner like Windex and clean it like regular glass. Keep in mind that the whole door will come off and completely apart to get to both glasses and in between. I would comment additionally that what is in between the glass may be that way due to a leak through the gasket around between the inside and outside glass. However, inspect the gasket well and if you need to you can find a replacement through the dealer or manufacturer of that brand. Keep in mind also that leakage from the microwave door in any way could hurt someone with a heart pacemaker if they get close or someone else that has a battery in it such as people with embedded health units for muscles spasms after back surgeries and the like. Those are the most critical health issues to consider and to be sure that your gaskets are good.

There are spots in the glass in the door can you take it appart

There is a screen behind the outer glass of the door which protects you from harmful microwave emmisions. Residue will build up here over time. Trying to clean this screen may damage it and subject you to serious problems. I have been using Microwave ovens for 35 years with no problems. I dont worry about this because germs will be eliminated by the emmisions.

Microwave door has burn spots on the glass of the door...

The brown spots are usually grease / smoke deposits. Usually there are indeed two sheets of glass in the door. If the grease is not arcing or smoking, and the metal screen / mesh (that blocks microwave leakage) is not damaged, then it's likely better left alone. It might be useful to boil a few cups of water with a little vinegar inside the microwave to help dissolve the deposits. In case you want to take it apart, I have attached a photo from a similar model that illustrates disassembly of the door. It is not necessary or advisable to remove the door or hinges when disassembling the door.
