Never had a problem with the phone. on a flight phone was in pocket when I landed and turned it on the display that is on the inside of phone was blue and I can't get text etc. I can still use as phone

Take your battery out, and look for the moisture indicator.... it should be a little circle with red hash marks. If it's solid red, the battery is probably toast.... you might want to see if you can borrow a battery and try it before you sell the phone.

were you trying to mod the phone? this is called a "bricked" phone. there is some file error in the phone. if you try pulling out the battery, sim and memory card. put just the battery in and start it up and see what happens- you might get lucky and have a fault with the sim or memory card. otherwise the phone is shot.

My screen also went blue after flying on an airplane. I have made the same flight dozens of times with no trouble, but this time I turned it off to board and when I returned it to on after landing the screen was permanent blue. It has never been wet or experience any problems. I can and still make and receive calls, but I cannot see the inside screen.
Left my phone on at night. When I got up in the morning and opened it up, the main display inside was blue. Tried powering down, removing battery and no luck. I can still receive and make calls.
I have the same problem with my LG VX5200. I've had it for 2 1/2 years and haven't had a single problem. I turned it off before i took the SATs and when i turned it back on it was permanent blue as well. There is a company called 3 G mobile near by where i could get it fixed for 70 dollars. Is this risky? How long will it last? let me know.
I went to bed with phone charging woke up to its alarm and that the screen was blue. tried taking out battery and powering down still no luck, all function except visual are opperational. ANy suggestions???
The display screen on the inside of my cell phone has turned completely blue. The phone still makes and receives calls,minus caller ID. When the phone is in the closed position, the outer display screen looks faded.

I have only just got my new phone on contract with virgin - it is the lg cookie! I got it about 3 weeks ago and all of a sudden a couple of days ago there was this blue rectangle on the screen. It didn't fill the screen but i was unable to work the touchscreen and the pressable buttons at the bottom of the phone didnt work and i couldn't see the display. it happened again yesterday, and i have to keep taking out the battery which im worried will wreck the phone. shall i take it back or just leeve it??
