Contact customer service with microsoft and advise them of all the information you provided us. The key may be a fake key, give them the key number to ensure you have a valid key, if it is not they will ask you where the product came from, if it was a store, then give the store name, they may give you a replacement key, they do this sometimes if it was a STORE it came from.
the product key comes on a sticker with the software. however seeing as how you are looking for a serial key i am assuming you downloaded it, if you downloaded it from MS then contct them. if you downloaded it via a torrent then i am afraid you are out of luck because that falls under pirating software and it would be wrong for anyone to actually help you with getting a serial key for pirated software.
Do you require "a" product key, or "your" product key? If the latter, you can obtain it one of three ways:
You should be able to locate it on your installation disk/sleeve, or stickered on/in your product documention.
However, if your MS Office software is currently installed, there are many software utilities that can present the key code to you. I recommend "Belarc Advisor". Download/install or on-line run it. After it processes, its report will display in your default web-browser. You'll find your key in the "Software Licenses" section.
Barring the above, you'll need to contact Microsoft support services [800-MICROSOFT (642-7676)] for resolution.
Good luck, and thanks in advance for posting back ...

Sorry! To do this would be tantamount to supporting Piracy and leave us open to a lawsuit as an aceesory to theft. Please do not ask us to condone the supply of hacks cracks and illegal keys.
Why not use the FREE clone that has all that MS does and more. It reads writes looks like MSoffice, can be used on multiple computers does not expire in 30 days and is just so easy to use. go to OpenOffice org and download it absolutely free of charge. If you do some research around the site you can find heaps of temjplates and clipart submitted by others who contribute to this project. Why support MS they are only interested in the money, not making a good piece of software bug free. Some companies employ Beta Users, microsoft uses you and charges you for the priveledge of finding their bugs!
Pleaase rate the help++++Thanks for using FIXYA and enjoy OpenOffice
usually the ONLY solution for this is to call MS (if its a MS program) and get a New Key.. Usually, what happens is there are limits for installation of MS Products, but if its your product and you have the orginal key, they will give you a new one that will activate the program. So keep that 'old' key, b/c you need it to give it to them when you call.
I also try to install MS Office on another computer once my old one crash and I hath to buy another one.. once trying to install the MS software on this computer it kept coming bck 'invalid" Product Key, and had to call MS to get a new one.. So try that, and I'm sure that shuld solve your problem and allow you to gain access bk to your product.
