Question about RCA RS2625 CD Shelf System
I was listening to my stereo and something popped and the sound stopped working. It still registers that its playing and if I plug headphones into it the sound comes through them but it won't come through the speakers. I switched the speaker cables around but nothing changed, and I checked the fuses and they are fine and nothing looks burnt or blown.
We had the same problem with our last rca stereo. I don't remember what model it was. My husband took it apart and found that there was and area on the circuit board that was fried. I don't know of any other solution then the one we chose. Trash it. I'm not expert but I would imagine that you could by a new stereo for the price of replacing that circuit board. Just don't buy an rca. They are junk. Our new rca just quit playing cds.
