Question about Apple MacBook Pro Notebook
Insert the install disk when the computer is operational. After the disk has mounted, click on the 'Install' icon in the install disk window. You will be prompted that the machine will now re-start. When the re-start happens DO NOT hold down the 'C' key the computer will automaticaly start up from the install disk.
If this fails to work, hold down the 'alt' key on start up. This will bring up a screen with all the available boot folders. (You may need to wait for the disk to appear on the screen). Select the boot disk you want and click the arrow to start from that disk.
