Question about Dryers
The blower wheel on my GE dbxr453ga2ww has begun to rub against the front of the cabinet housing. I have aken the dryer apart and the blower wheel is connected by a shaft directly to the motor. The motor seams sturdy and I do not believe it bent out of shape or moved in any way causeing the wheel to move. Also the blower wheel is plastic so I highly doubt it bent out of shape. I was going to try and tighten the screw holding the wheel to the fan tonight, but if that doesn't work I was wondering if you have any other ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Your blower is held onto shaft with 2 clips, inner and outer.loosen bolt slightly and you should be able to push blower back a little be careful not to loosen too much ,they can be a pain to realign.Hope this helps, please rate my solution.:)
