SOURCE: silicon scientific atomic watch

Should be 4 buttons, 2 on left and 2 on right. Press bottom left 3 times and hour offset digit will be displayed. Press and hold top left until hour offset digit starts to flash. Press either top or bottom right to adjust offset hour to correspond with your time zone. Eastern -5, central -6, mountain -7, pacific -8. These are negative numbers, not positive. Then press top left button once, then press bottom left button to return to time display.

Need to set just the time on a timex WR100M mens watch

SETTING
  1. First, find the regular time mode by pressing the MODE button until the time (with the date at the top) shows.
  2. Press & hold the SET button until the word ENTER disappears and is replaced by the word TIME. Release that button. You'll notice that at the top of the display, the words SET T1 or SET - T2. This is where you select between setting the 1st time zone or the 2nd time zone. Select between T1 or T2 by pressing the RECALL button or the STOP/RESET button.
  3. Press either the MODE or the START/SPLIT button. You'll notice that whatever is blinking is what you can change. You can make the changes by pressing either the RECALL or the STOP/RESET button. You can change the Seconds, the Hours, the Minutes, the Month, the Date, the Year, and choose between 12 hour (civilian) or 24 hour (military) time. If you keep MODE or START/SPLIT button, you will go through all the things you can change and start again at the beginning. The START/SPLIT button goes through these things forward, and the MODE goes through the backwards, so if you pass something and want to back up, just switch buttons. In the same way, the RECALL changes things by making them larger, and STOP/RESET changes them by making them smaller, so if you accidentally pass the number you're trying to set it to, just switch to the other button and go back.
EXAMPLE OF SETTING THE WATCH Suppose you want to set the hours and the date in the 2nd Time Zone. (Just as an example, but setting any other time or date settings would be the same.)
  1. Press the lower left button on the side (MODE) until you see the date & time.
  2. Press & hold the lower right button on the side (SET) until the word TIME appears on the display, then release it.
  3. If SET T1 is showing, then press & release the upper right button on the side (RECALL) to change it to T2 (because we're wanting to set the 2nd Time Zone we'd leave this unchanged if we wanted to set the 1st time zone, T1.)
  4. Press & release the lower right button on the face (START/SPLIT) twice, skipping the seconds. You should see the hours flashing.
  5. Press & release the upper right button on the side (RECALL) repeatedly until you have the hours position set to what you want it to be. If you pass the hour you want, go to the lower left button on the face (STOP/RESET) and press & release it to back up.
  6. Press & release the lower right button on the face (START/SPLIT) three times, skipping minutes and months, so that the date begins flashing. Press the RECALL button until you have the date you want. (You can go backwards by pressing the STOP/RESET.)
  7. When you're done, and you've set everything you want to, press & release the SET button once to tell the watch you're through setting and to lock those settings in.

Swatch diaphane second hand stuck

Hello, a week ago the small second hand (not long chrono second hand) got stucked and my irony swatch just stop moving. Although the chronometer could be running if started... The small hand just didn't move.
I tried different tricks, like removing battery, pull out main wheel and use chrono buttons to reset arms. Etc.
Today I noticed that when turning the wheel backwards a couple of times (one or two hours back) the little hand moved one second back... Pushing wheel back to On possition made the small hand move forward one second and get stucked again.
Then I did this procedure a couple of times, at some point I turned the wheel back for a while (may be 5 full turns) and noticed the small hand moved more than one second (5, 10, 15 seconds backward)... when I noticed it was moving freely I pushed wheel to on position and noticed the small second hand was running normal.. I hope it works for some of you. Greettings from Canada

Clock is 2 hours ahead of actual cst time

If you have an atomic clock/watch that is not showing the right time, you could have one or two separate problems. First, the clock may not be set for the correct time zone. Second, the clock may have a manual switch to adjust the time for daylight savings time. Each of these problems can make your clock display the incorrect hour of the time, especially after you change the batteries and your clock "forgets" some or all of its prior settings.
Check the back of your clock to see if there is a button or switch to set the correct time zone. If your clock appears to be set to your time zone, change the switch to another time zone and see whether the clock moves forward/backward to adjust. Once it has finished adjusting to the new time zone, adjust the clock back to your time zone to see whether it will now correctly reset to display the time.
I have seen atomic clocks that have manual adjustments for these settings as well as ones that adjust automatically other than the time zone. If you provide the manufacturer and model number of your clock, we should be able to provide more detailed instructions.

Cannot change from 24 hour to 12 hour also did not change to daylight savings time

To change from 24 hour to 12 hour, you hold down the "Mode" button until it switches from 24 hour to 12 hour or vice versa. To change the time zone, you hold down the "Set" button until the time zone that you set it in flashes (like "LAX" on my watch). Then you press the "Receive/Start/Stop" button to choose the specified time zone you want. To set for daylight savings time ("DST" on the watch), after holding the "Set" button and having the time zone flash, you could press the "Mode" button. It will give you a few options for the daylight savings time (Auto, On, or Off). I chose the "On" option, which immediately changed for daylight savings time. If you manually want to change the time, you could hold down the "Set" button and keep pressing the "Mode" button until the time starts flashing on your watch, then pressing the "Receive/Start/Stop" button until you change it to the time that you want. You could also set the watch to beep or chime after pressing the set button if you wanted to know that piece. You hold down the "Set" button when you are done to get it to stop flashing. These instructions worked for my Timex T5G341 Universal Radio Control Watch. I hope this helps.
