Question about Safety 1st Acella LX Winnie the Pooh Standard Stroller

1 Answer

Squeaky Wheels I have a Safety 1st stroller (not sure of the model) that looks very similar to this one. The wheels squeak terribly. We have used WD-40 and oil but that has not helped. I want to remove the wheels, clean them and apply oil inside before re-attaching them. Can you tell me how to remove the wheels? Thank you!

hi i used to work at the bay and what you do is pop the caps of the center of the wheel and take it apart usually all it needs it to be taken apart wiped down and put it back together its when you use it outside dirt and water gets into the spaces. and also try exchanging the washers around hope all works out for you

To remove the wheels there are a plastic cap over the nut and if you can take that off that unfasten the nut and it should come off clean. The wheels might be squeaking because you might have them on to tight.

Squeak on rear wheels

Hi Ashley

At Dorel we never recommend oil based lubricants as they will add a sticky residue to the product which will attract more dirt and debris which in turn causes friction, leading to a squeaking noise.

We would advise cleaning of the wheels and axle is done with furniture polish or dry Teflon spray to remove dirt and grime and any residue which may be causing friction.

We would recommend you contact Uppababy for further advice

Squeaky sound coming from car. got breaks checked and still squeaking. someone told me it is most likely the wheel bearing

It is possible that it is the wheel bearing especially if it is metal contact you are hearing. To be sure swap your wheels from back to the front and see if the noise transfers location. If it did it could be the wheels.

Dryer makes terrible squeaking noise when running

remove the front cover and replace the drum glides that the drum rolls on at the front, they are very inexpensive and easy to replace you can try wd-40 to make sure this is your problem,if so then replace them because wd-40 draws lint
