SOURCE: What is the mix for my Homelite 16" 33cc chainsaw?

50:1 is the fuel to oil ratio. Never use petroleum oil (engine or boat motor oil). Always use a synthetic saw oil available from home centers, hardware stores and saw dealers. The bottles are usually graduated to various ratios for a gallon of fresh gas. Always premix in it's own container and shake the container thoroughly each time just before filling the tank to prevent oil starvation. Be sure to use bar/chain oil for the chain as well, and keep the chain sharp and well adjusted. Hope this helps!

I have a Homelite UT20702 trimmer, a 25 cc engine. What is the gas/oil mixture supposed to be. Lost manual.

Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix oil with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US). Do not use automotive oil or 2-cycle outboard oil
Here is link to owners manual too

Need gas/oil mix for Homelite 330 10604A, HJ

To the best of my recollection the 330 is an older model saw and should be running about a 16:1 ratio. 8oz. of oil to 1 gallon of fuel. Hope this helps.

Note: You're always better being a bit richer (lower ratio) than you are leaner (higher ratio).

I have a Homelite XL Chainsaw, What is the recommended gas/oil mix, please? Clive

I have an older homelite that uses a 40 to 1 mix. It is about twenty years old but I think that is what homelite still uses.I hope this helps you. Thanks

Just got a homelite 33cc 14 inch chain saw, do you mix gas and oil on this chain saw?

Yes you do! The ratio is 50:1 fuel to oil. Be sure to use a modern synthetic saw oil available at home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers. Be sure to use fresh fuel and mix the two in it's own container. Be sure to shake the container thoroughly each time just before refueling to prevent oil starvation in the engine. Don't make up more than one gallon at a time unless sawing is your business. Hope this helps!

Correct mix of gas and oil for Chain Saw

The ratio is 40:1, provided this is a gasoline homelite chainsaw. Find the suitable amount to put into the gas can at a ratio of 3.2 oz per gallon. The bottles that you buy the oil in have marks on them telling you how much there is, and often times, are sized to dump into a preset amount of gas. Put the oil in the can, then put the gas in the can, cap, and shake. Always shake before dispensing.
