Question about Panasonic DMP-BD30K Blu-Ray Player
Can anyone give me simple instructions how to convert my US-bought DMP-BD35 player to play blu-ray discs from both regions A & B and DVDs from regions 1 & 2? It is currently blocked for regions B and 2.
I have seen one solution that requires soldering a new chip into the set. But I am hoping someone knows how to recode the machine by using the standard remote to make it multi-region.Please help
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If it does it with just the one disc it is probably the file that you burned. Does the file sound ok on the computer? Sometimes files that are downloaded have bad audio tracks and I have seen cases where the encoding software that you are using messes up the file when it is modifying the file.
Try another DVD or Blu-Ray disc and see if it still distorts. If it does then it may be a setting in the player or in the receiver.

Have you put in the correct region Blu Ray disc ?
Is it all disks not playing ?
Try cleaning the laser head with a cleaning disk.

SOURCE: - All my DVD Blu-ray
There are two different lasers on the drive.. Red for DVD and CD.. Blue for Blu Ray..
The Blue Laser may have failed.
Of course it always helps to check drivers and firmware updates for the drive itself. There was one firmware update 12/2010 for this player at the Panasonic USA website (support) Version 1.43
Finally Check your BD Ratings settings. There is a setting that could prevent all Blue Ray Discs from being played. It should be set to NO LIMIT which allows any rating. Page 24 of your manual.
Best of luck!
