Perhaps you just try to contact Pentax for this? But I think if you could buy a LCD screen, it will cost you more than a brand new camera, with better specs than your Optio M20.

Hi, Seems lcd screen got damage that is why not showing image, lcd screen replacement would cost approx new camera price so better option is to buy new camera. Hope this will help. Thanks.
i have the same problem here. i sat down on my camera Doh! It need a new LCD screen, for sur, and i have a line whit a black/purple spot on the LCD. I open my camera and i separate the screen from the other part (white light) and i search instruction to continue the repairing, i can send photos of what it's look like, well im searching further instruction to replace the LCD screen.
LCD is damaged and needs to be replaced. The cost of replacing is less than buying a new camera. If they charge more than 50 of the cost buy a new camera.
