most gm cars engage the door locks when the vehicle is in gear and is up to 12 miles per hour. Not aware of an ease way to prevent the locks from engaging when moving. Really can be annoying but not such a bad thing these days with car jacking and other crimes to have the doors lock.
you were suppose to have the radio unlock code .if you don't have it a GM dealer will unlock it for you and tell you a code for it
this is all for antitheft system
unfortunately you would only have the code if you bought it new, each code is radio specific and can only be obtained by the dealer, if you have the owners manual it might have been written down by the original owner if that is not you
you can but I dont recomend it,the vehicle is too new and your steering wont work is you did get it started.Find a lock smith or take the number inside your glove box to the dealer and they can make you a new key,or use the VIN #
I believe you have another problem, because the radio will keep the calibration of the radio as long as it stays in your van. it will only lock if radio is swaped with another pontiac radio. to unlock it you will need a GM tech II to recalibrate the unit.
