Question about Epson R1900 Printer
Is this when you attempt to print black text? If so it is probably the ink itself that has dried out / gotten old. If it is exposed to heat it can also do this. If you are attempting to print color and it comes out only purple then you need to replace the color cartridge as well. If you have replaced those things already with ones you know are fresh and new then it is actually a print head problem that needs to be repaired by the manufacturer or a certified print repair shop.
